Welcome! I'm Paulina Birgiolaite, and I'm passionate about helping women overcome burnout and perfectionism. My journey into mental health began in high school, where an AP Psychology project on group think mentality sent me into a rabbit hole of research. I went on to study psychology and business management at the University of Minnesota (Go Gophers!), and later, I earned my Master's of Social Work from the University of Denver, where I also received a certification in Animal Assisted Social Work.

With over a decade of experience in the mental health field, I've worked in various settings, including residential treatment, university student support, community mental health, and program development. My advanced training in Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT) from the Albert Ellis Institute, combined with my ongoing certification in Functional Medicine from the Institute of Functional Medicine, equips me with a holistic approach to mental health. I also hold a special interest in helping women with ADHD, as I navigate my own neurodivergent experiences.

As an immigrant from Lithuania, I understand the immense pressure of holding oneself to high standards. My family's sacrifice inspired me to excel in all areas of life, leading to my own experiences with burnout and perfectionism. This personal journey fuels my passion for helping other women. I believe in understanding the root causes of burnout and identifying both helpful and harmful behaviors in recovery.

In our sessions, I focus on genuinely understanding you—your past, your family, and your current environment—and how these elements impact your mental health. I incorporate a variety of techniques tailored to your unique needs, often blending them seamlessly into our conversations. My approach is holistic, emphasizing mental well-being, healthier behavioral choices, and surrounding yourself with supportive individuals.

I strive to create a safe, supportive space where women from all walks of life can truly get to know themselves. Clients appreciate my genuine curiosity, empathy, and encouragement. Many have found my approach empowering, helping them discover and pursue their own goals. My practice thrives on word-of-mouth referrals, a testament to the strong connections I build with my clients. If you're looking for a therapist who will dictate your path, I might not be the right fit—but if you seek someone who will walk alongside you, offering support and insight, then let's connect.

When I'm not working, you'll find me hiking, traveling, or spending quality time with my dog and husband. I'm also exploring the world of pickleball—it's a work in progress! Building IKEA furniture is a particularly special hobby of mine.
If you're ready to start your journey toward overcoming burnout and perfectionism, I'm here to help. Reach out today to schedule a session and take the first step toward a healthier, more balanced life.
